 Well, It was reccomended on the forums, so we decided to have a little vote. You'll find the poll on the right.

 You've waited a long time for this, but it's finally here! Links for the ExcursionX BETA have been made available in the downloads section.
This section of the forums has been opened up to allow communication to people who wish to use the BETA so you can tell us what doesn't work.
The main posts aren't up yet, (tomorrow guys) but we'll be posting what is SUPPOSED to work, and what we KNOW doesn't work yet. If you find something that doesn't work and we said it should or did say it shouldn't, we'd like to know.

Merry Christmas Everyone. Sorry there havn't been many updates for a while. It's been a slow time around here and for a while now work has been slow. Everyone's been asking as of late when the new version of excursion is coming out. Well, I can't be too sure for certain when it will be, but look for a betatest release in January.
Some new features I'm keeping a surprise, but I can tell you that all your multiple network headaches will be over.

 Sorry for the extra delay and downtime, but the site was taken down for upgrades.
It my not LOOK like anything has changed, but the differences are subtle, and it lets us do our job easier too.
Look on the bright side: no more getting hacked for a while.

It is true, the website was hacked. This hack had a few reprocussons, the biggest being that they used our website's "Newsletter" feature to send viruses (repeatedly) to a number of our users.
We apologise for the problems this may have caused, and we hope you didn't get infected by the virus they tried to distribute.
We have regained control of the website again, and don't expect an incident similar to this to happen again.
A few points to note:
1) We NEVER ask for your passwords in email of any sort. If you receive requests for your password from somone saying they are a member of the administration of this site, do NOT give them your password.
2) We have never as yet used the Newsletter function that this site provides, and If ever we were to do so (not likely), It would ONLY be to announce releases of new versions of Excursion.

Ahhh, yet another way to crash people has been found in the latest version of mIRC. Don't worry though.. there's a very simple temporary fix. You have two choices:
1) Don't auto-accept DCC transfers and say NO to suspicious files. This option can be found under View->Options->Dcc
-OR-
2) Make sure your DCC gets auto-close. This option can be found under View->Options->Dcc->Options

Excursion 9.4.34 has been released! This update is due to the fact that the mIRC client some previous versions were bundled with was being exploited. A couple of other little things were fixed as well.
If the Auto Updater is down, you'll have to manually update in order to get this version. Visit #Excursion on EFnet or our downloads section.

If you are using Excursion , you may be crashing a lot lately on IRC. The crashing is NOT due to Excursion but due to mIRC itself. You will need to update to the newest mIRC.
Click here to download mIRC 6.12
You need to install 6.12 into your existing Excursion directory (be sure to check save settings) and then use Mirc.exe instead of Excursion9.4.exe. You also need to update to the newest version of Excursion(9.4.34).
